John V. Polomsky II is a graduate of Kalamazoo College and the University of Michigan Law School. He also received his Master of Science in Taxation from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business of Troy, Michigan, in 1999. He practiced for fifteen years with the Saginaw law firm of Shinners & Cook, P.C. He was one of the three founding stockholders of that P.C. He then joined Stroebel Meyer, PLLC in 2003 before opening his own practice in the Fall of 2004.
Mr. Polomsky's expertise and experience is in trust planning, trust repair, probate, estate planning, estate and gift tax reduction, family partnerships and family limited liability companies, condominium law, commercial real estate sales and purchases, commercial leasing, business sales and purchases, business entity formation and structuring, trust administration and subdivision and condominium development.
Mr. Polomsky has been active in many professional organizations, such as the Northeastern Michigan Estate Planning Council, the Mid-Michigan Estate Planning Days at Saginaw Valley State University, and Saginaw Kiwanis Riverside. He is a Member of the Probate and Estate Planning and Real Property Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan. He is committed to continuing professional education.
Mr. Polomsky is currently Chairman of the City of Frankenmuth Planning Commission.
